The essentials
Masks and hand sanitizer are now packing essentials as much as a phone charger is. Don’t forget the basics in your toiletry bag, such as a toothbrush or face moisturizer with SPF.
The outdoor items
Sunglasses are a must when you go to any sunny location, and even more when you can expect beautiful ocean views from every angle. Add a hat for extra protection.
Anderson Ocean Club has direct access to the beach, so don’t forget those flip-flops to walk comfortably onto Myrtle Beach’s white-sand beaches.
One of our favorite tips is to bring two bathing suits. Although you think you might not feel like swimming in the ocean, we’re sure you won’t resist dipping in one of our pools or hot tubs. With two bathing suits, you’ll always have a dry one if you’re up for a second splash.
The beach bag list
Bring with you a beach bag or backpack where you can fit all the things you need for a day by the waves. With so many options at the store, we always encourage our guests to look for reef-safe sunscreen. It’s such an easy way to preserve our ecosystem while protecting our skin.
Add some lip balm with SPF if you have the chance, as well as a reusable water bottle to keep yourself hydrated. Save the bigger space in your bag for a beach blanket or towel.
If you’re traveling by car, a beach umbrella and chair might become your best friend during a beautiful day at the beach. Otherwise, they can also be rented right at the beach.
The clothing
Spring temperatures in Myrtle Beach are usually mild to warm. However, it can get colder during the night and early in the morning. Prior to your vacation, take a look at the forecast. Spring in Myrtle Beach is popular for its pleasant weather, but you might need to pack a thin rain jacket and an umbrella if the forecast predicts a chance of showers.
Overall, we recommend you pack clothes that can make you feel comfortable throughout the day, such as T-shirts, lightweight long pants, and some long sleeves for the cooler times of day. Add in a pair of shorts just in case, too.
With the vibrant ambiance of Myrtle Beach in the evening, you don’t want to forget your outfits for a night out.
