Myrtle Beach Spring Activities

Activities for spring mid-term break and Easter weekend

The countdown’s begun! Spring is just around the corner and the days are getting longer, sunnier, and warmer. It’s almost time to pack for a well-deserved trip, and Myrtle Beach is the perfect spring break destination to visit.

For 2024, spring break goes from mid-March through mid-April. Because school breaks vary county-by-county, visitors vacation at different times to enjoy a more family-friendly vibe to avoid the busier summer crowds.

So, are you ready for your 2024 spring break vacation? We’ve put together a list of events and activities on the Grand Strand so you can start planning your spring break getaway.

1. Myrtle Beach Marathon

March 2, 2024

On Saturday, March 2nd, the annual Myrtle Beach marathon will take place, offering a full marathon, half marathon, and 5 km race. There will also be a virtual 10K option for those who cannot attend in person. Online registration is available, and participants will receive a finisher medal, a sleeveless shirt, and a long-sleeve shirt featuring the 2024 design. The race will start and finish at the Myrtle Beach Pelicans stadium, followed by a post-race party with refreshments. Participants are encouraged to stay informed by visiting the marathon website.
