The essentials
Some items are essential on every vacation. Besides your phone charger, don’t forget the basics in your toiletry bag, such as a hairbrush, toothbrush and toothpaste. The sun’s rays can be strong in the spring, be sure to pack sunscreen or face moisturizer with SPF.
The outdoor items
Protect your eyes and face from the sun with a pair of sunglasses and a wide-brimmed hat.
Anderson Ocean Club has direct access to the beach, so don’t forget those flip-flops to walk comfortably onto Myrtle Beach’s white-sand beaches.
One of our favorite tips is to bring two bathing suits. While the water might still be a bit chilly, we’re sure you won’t resist dipping in one of our pools or hot tubs. With two bathing suits, you’ll always have a dry one if you’re up for a second splash.
The beach bag list
A spacious beach bag will help you keep all of your essentials organized and easily accessible. As for sun protection, we always encourage our guests to look for reef-safe sunscreen. It’s such an easy way to preserve our ecosystem while protecting our skin.
Add some lip balm with SPF if you have the chance, as well as a reusable water bottle to keep yourself hydrated. Save the bigger space in your bag for a beach blanket or towel.
If you’re traveling by car, a beach umbrella and chair might become your best friend during a beautiful day at the beach. Otherwise, they can also be rented right at the beach.
The clothing
Spring temperatures in Myrtle Beach can vary from day to night, so be sure to pack some light layers.
Spring in Myrtle Beach is popular for its pleasant weather, but you might need to pack a thin rain jacket and an umbrella if the forecast predicts a chance of showers.
Overall, we recommend you pack clothes that can make you feel comfortable throughout the day. A light jacket, cardigan, or long-sleeved shirt can come in handy during cooler evenings.
What items to skip
At Anderson Ocean Club & Spa, the in-room toiletries include body and facial soap, shampoo, body moisturizer, as well as hair dryers. Our fully equipped kitchens are stocked with some kitchen essentials such as dish soap, dishwasher detergent, and paper towels.
